Linear motor drive

LinMot E1200 (E1200-GP / E12xx)

A higher-performance single-axis DC servo drive for P0x and PR0x motors. It adds more I/O and real-time Ethernet options compared with the compact C-series.

Notes on this data

32 A peak and 12 A rms motor phase current (0–599 Hz) are from the E1200 Installation Guide 5V12; LinMot does not label 12 A as 'continuous'. E1200-GP supports CANopen and LinRS. The other protocols come from E12xx variants such as E1230-DP (PROFIBUS) and E1250. The guide does not map every protocol to each variant clearly. The eCatalog also lists older E1200 (NFND/NFNA) series.

Specify Motion is not affiliated with NTI AG. LinMot and E1200 (E1200-GP / E12xx) are used only to identify the product. Comparisons use published figures; always confirm against the current datasheet.

Alternatives that meet or exceed these figures

Engineers often come to us with a LinMot part number and leave with an alternative that is easier to source, quicker to deliver or a better fit for the machine. These 3 series from our supply network are the closest match on published figures.

Figures are the highest published for each series and are not always measured the same way. A higher figure is not automatically a better choice: mounting, duty cycle, feedback, connectors and approvals matter too. An engineer will check the fit against your application before recommending anything.
