Who we are
Specify Motion is operated by CreativeLocker, which is the controller of the personal data you submit through this website. Contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
Your name, telephone number, company name, email address, your brief overview or message, whether you have opted out of marketing, the page you enquired from and any answers you give in the spec builder or AI assist.
Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry and arrange technical advice or a quotation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
Marketing
Every form on this site has a box you can select if you do not want to be marketed in the future with relevant products or promotions. If you select it, we will only contact you about your enquiry. If you leave it unselected, we may occasionally email you about relevant products or promotions, and every message includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also opt out at any time by emailing [email protected].
Confirmation emails
When you send an enquiry we email you a confirmation containing a copy of your message.
Who we share it with
We pass your enquiry to the specialist engineering and supply partner in the UK best placed to answer it. We also use service providers to host the site, store enquiries and send email (Cloudflare and our email provider). We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted, unless an ongoing business relationship means we need them for longer.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to or restrict how we use it, by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security and cookies
The site is served over SSL. To block spam, our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile and an automated check: the text of each enquiry is screened by an AI model running on Cloudflare's network, and enquiries flagged as spam are held for manual review rather than discarded. This check does not make decisions about you beyond whether a message is spam. We do not use advertising cookies.
