Linear-rotary motor
LinMot PR02 linear-rotary motors
The newer linear-rotary series, with options for a built-in MagSpring, force sensor and torque sensor. It suits screw-driving and press-and-turn processes that need checking.

Notes on this data
Sizes are PR02-38, -40, -52, -70 and -88. Stroke ≤300 mm (PR02-88) is from linmot.com; the eCatalog variants checked show 150 mm. 572 N / 10 Nm / 220 N continuous are for PR02-88 (2.9 m/s, 1000 rpm). 3.9 m/s and 1500 rpm are for PR02-52 (255 N, 2.2 Nm). A related PR04-52 series (lighter, long stroke) is listed but has no published figures on the pages checked.
Specify Motion is not affiliated with NTI AG. LinMot and PR02 linear-rotary motors are used only to identify the product. Comparisons use published figures; always confirm against the current datasheet.

Alternatives that meet or exceed these figures
Engineers often come to us with a LinMot part number and leave with an alternative that is easier to source, quicker to deliver or a better fit for the machine. These 3 series from our supply network are the closest match on published figures.
Narrow, cost-effective iron-core linear motors with low cogging for long-stroke, space-constrained axes.

Figures are the highest published for each series and are not always measured the same way. A higher figure is not automatically a better choice: mounting, duty cycle, feedback, connectors and approvals matter too. An engineer will check the fit against your application before recommending anything.
